Ho studiato architettura al Politecnico di Milano, dove ho conseguito la laurea magistrale nell'aprile 2008. Da allora, e fino al 2014, ho collaborato con la docenza del Politecnico di Milano nel laboratorio del professor Giancarlo Consonni, come tutor e coordinatore delle tesi di laurea. Dal 2009 lavoro come freelance come "Laura Zamboni ARCHITETTO".
Da sempre appassionata di fotografia, ho seguito diversi corsi, soprattutto durante gli studi universitari, quando ho frequentato il corso "Fotografia di architettura" tenuto dal fotografo Marco Introini.
Mi interessa la fotografia di paesaggio e di architettura con particolare attenzione alle relazioni compositive tra gli elementi paesaggistici naturali o artificiali che la fotografia registra e le condizioni di luce che ne modificano la percezione. Nei miei lavori fotografici analizzo il paesaggio attraverso la fotografia, indagando la natura dei soggetti, dichiarata anche attraverso il rapporto con il contesto, cercando di evidenziarlo con immagini chiare ed essenziali con l'obiettivo di documentare e connettersi con il mondo circostante.
Le mie immagini cercano un equilibrio tecnico-formale, andando verso un approccio metodico. Questo per evitare elementi di distrazione. Non cerco di stupire, ma di far emergere elementi semplici e chiari, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la fotografia di architettura e di paesaggio; elementi normalmente dati per scontati, sui quali la nostra mente non si sofferma, e che dimentichiamo di valorizzare a causa della nostra frenesia e del nostro approccio.
Vorrei soffermarmi su quanto sia importante conoscere e identificare i luoghi, per trattarli con consapevolezza, con attenzione alla loro estetica, tema a me molto caro. Estetica non solo come aspetto esteriore delle cose e come bellezza, ma qualcosa di più profondo. L'estetica come carattere, la conoscenza sensibile (data dai sensi) dei luoghi, sia nella loro parte naturale che artificiale, fatta dall'uomo.
Nella mia formazione da autodidatta sono influenzato dalla fotografia di Luigi Ghirri, Andreas Gursky, Michael Wolf.
Partecipo a mostre fotografiche internazionali.
I studied architecture at Politecnico di Milano, where I obtained my master's degree in April 2008.
Since then, and until 2014, I collaborated with the lecturer at Politecnico di Milano in Giancarlo Consonni laboratory as a tutor and co-ordinator of degree theses. Since 2009 I have been working as a freelance as "Laura Zamboni ARCHITETTO".
Always passionate about photography, I took several courses, especially during university studies, when I attended the "Photography of Architecture" course held by photographer Marco Introini.
I am interested in landscape and architecture photography with particular attention to the compositional relationships between the natural or artificial landscape elements that photography records, and the light conditions that modify its perception.
In my photographic works I analyze landscape through photography, investigating the nature of the subjects, also declared through the relationship with the context, trying to highlight it with clear and essential images with the aim of documenting and connecting with the surrounding world.
My images seek a technical-formal balance, going towards a methodical approach. This, to avoid distracting elements. I don't try to amaze, but to bring out simple, clear elements, especially with regard to architectural and landscape photography; elements normally taken for granted, on which our mind does not dwell, and which we forget to value due to our frenzy and our approach.
I would like to focus on how important it is knowing and identifying places, in order to treat them with awareness, with attention to their aesthetics, a theme very dear to me. Aesthetics not just as an external appearance of things and as beauty, but something deeper. Aesthetics as the character, the sensitive knowledge (given by the senses) of places, both in their natural and artificial parts, made by man.
In my self-taught training I am influenced by the photography of Luigi Ghirri, Andreas Gursky, Michael Wolf
I take part in international photography exhibitions.
